There are numerous options should your pet be in need of an orthopaedic procedure. For certain procedures, Dan can perform these at Stonehouse Veterinary Practice.

 

Examples of common orthopaedic surgeries that Dan can perform include:

• Cruciate ligament surgery​​

  • TPLO (tibial plateau levelling osteotomy)

  • CCWO (cranial closing wedge osteotomy)

  • Lateral suture stabilisation

• Patella luxation surgery​

• Femoral head and neck excision

• A wide variety of fracture repairs

For certain fractures, we also have the option of organising for a visiting orthopaedic surgeon to perform the surgery at Breadstone Veterinary Practice.

If required, we can also refer you to the orthopaedic department at Langford Referral Hospital (Bristol Veterinary School).
